Welcome to SpeakOne! This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the SpeakOne mobile application ("App"). By using SpeakOne, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect We believe in collecting only what is absolutely necessary to provide you with a great language learning experience.

• Account Information: When you create an account, we only collect your Email address and a secure Password. We do not ask for your real name, physical address, or phone number.
• Usage Data: We collect basic app usage data (e.g., app progress, completed lessons) to synchronize your learning experience across devices.

2. AI Content and Safety SpeakOne uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to generate conversational language practice.

• Content Moderation: Our AI is strictly programmed with safety filters. It is prohibited from generating or engaging in conversations related to NSFW (Not Safe For Work) topics, explicit content, violence, hate speech, illegal activities, politics, or religion.
• Data Processing: The phrases you practice are processed by our AI algorithms to provide real-time feedback. However, we do not use your personal email or identity to train public AI models.

3. Data Storage and International Transfers (GDPR Compliance) SpeakOne is built using modern cloud infrastructure. Your data may be stored and processed on secure servers located outside of your home country, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA), such as in the United States. We ensure that our cloud providers comply with strict international data protection standards and use Standard Contractual Clauses to safeguard your data.

4. Subscriptions and Payments We do not process or store any of your credit card or financial information. All subscriptions and payments are securely handled by Apple (via the App Store) and our payment infrastructure partner (RevenueCat). Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for information on how they handle your payment data.

5. Your Rights and Account Deletion You have full control over your data. You can permanently delete your account and all associated learning progress at any time.

• How to delete: Go to the App's Settings/Profile screen and tap the "Delete Account" button. This action is irreversible and will immediately erase your account data from our active database.

6. Changes to This Policy We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any major changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
